So Dell can just shove a big ol' thumb up their butt 'cause I fixed my own damn computer, with no help from them after sitting on the phone for a grand total of 2 hours.

A can of pressurized air and a screwdriver was just about all it took to get what I was looking for; a nice cool computer that didn't over heat unless I constantly had a fan running on it. Some guys at work told me that. Guys who are not getting paid Lord knows how much money to talk to people on the phone about their computer problems.

Supposedly it's still running too many processes, whatever that means, about twice what it should be doing...So I'm going to take it into work one night when Grant's working and he said he'd help me figure something out and look at the BIOS 'cause I'm not sitting on hold for another 15 minutes to get this figgered out. To someone who can't speak English.

Also, I figured while I was at it, I should clean the keyboard out, too. Now the J key sticks a little bit, which I could probably easily fix, and I broke something to the Ctrl key. Well, one of them, but it just so happens that was the one I used the most frequently of the two. Oh well. Maybe I can get that part...hard to say at this point.

Anyway, that's my computer/Dell update. Now it's time for homework! Yippee Skippee!

Oh, and I get Thanksgiving weekend off, not that actual day of Thanksgiving, but close enough. I do have to work at 5:30 in the morning the day after TG. Not real excited about that, but I told Sony I'd do it since he was giving me the weekend off :D

Hopefully I won't be working there too much longer after TG, anyway.
